Grotta di Polifemo Award for the Martial Arts of the Milazzo International Film Festival in Giovanni Aprile

The "Grotta di Polifemo" award in the "Martial Arts" section of the "Milazzo International Film Festival" directed by the director Annarita Campo was awarded to the maestro Giovanni Aprile.
Maestro Aprile has been practicing Aikido and Judo since he was 13 with Maestro Bartolomeo Favacchio.
In the 90's he starts practicing Aikido.
At the age of 14 he began to meet the best masters of this art and in Milan he met the master Riccardo Rampato, also holding an internship with Maestro Toshiro.
At 16 he was already a brown belt.
He then chose to start teaching martial arts.
I was noticed by the master Ferdinando Silvano, recognized as one of the best Aikido masters in Italy, and after seven years that he was a pupil Silvano declared himself the teacher of the young Giovanni Aprile.
Master Silvano, given the esteem with his pupil Aprile, also held courses in the city of Scicli, where master Aprile resides.
In 2000 the master Aprile set aside martial arts to serve in the Italian Air Force.
In 2005 he published the book "Personal Defense" and in 2007 he participated in internships held by Maestro Endo, teacher of Ferdinando Silvano.
This experience made him achieve, at less than thirty years, the IV Dan, an important milestone for an aikidoka.
In 2009 he marries Elisa who supports him in this passion.
In 2012 Pierangelo was born who from an early age shared the passion with his father.
The association "Il Samurai" was born where he was commissioned by the master Silvano to take care of the technical aspects and the training of aspiring instructors.
The school is affiliated with Csain, and director Annarita Campo is part of it.
Since 2019 he has been collaborating with Csain and joins Csain with the "Il Samurai" school as President of the school.
In 2020 he was elected by Csain as Head of Martial Arts for the Province of Ragusa.
