APRIL 25, 2021

The very famous "Night of the Oscars" which is taking place in Los Angeles right now has just started.
In Italy, due to the time zone, we could enjoy it from midnight and then (00:15) on CANALE 8.
This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the "Oscar Night" event was delayed by over two months.
Last year's edition instead took place normally having taken place just a few days before the start of the pandemic around the world.
Director Annarita Campo had the honor of having two invitations to the Oscar nominations from the Italian commission and had the honor of participating in the 2010 edition which was held at the Kodak Theather.
The award ceremony of the Oscars as every year has always taken place in the splendid setting of the "Dolby Theather" in the heart of Hollywood in Los Angeles.
This year, however, in addition to Dolby Theather, the large and suggestive hall of "Union Station" is added, which is the main train station in Los Angeles and other locations in France and the United Kingdom for overseas candidates who will not be able to travel to the States due to restrictions COVID-19.
The "red carpet" will be there again this year but will be resized compared to previous editions.
The categories of this edition of the Oscars will be 23 instead of 24 like all the respective editions as two categories have been merged into only one or "best sound editing" (Best sound editing) and "best sound mixing" (Best sound mixing) have become the category "best sound" (Best sound).
Held this year is the 93rd Academy Awards and will no longer have a single presenter.
Many stars will animate this edition and deliver the coveted statuette of the 2021 edition of the Oscars.
The producers of the show have announced the presence of: Steven Soderbergh, Stacey Sher and Jesse Collins who will actively participate in the evening and some candidates and winners of the past editions such as: Laura Dern, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Joaquin Phoenix , Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Yeun, Renée Zellweger, Riz Ahmed, Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Zendaya, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Viola Davise and Bong Joon Ho.
Film fans will be able to attend the Academy Awards ceremony, as we said before, from tonight to midnight and fifteen on TV8 with reruns the next day.
To conduct the evening on TV8 there will be Francesco Castelnuovo in the company of Gianni Canova and the journalist of Sky TG24 Denise Negri as well as the presence of other guests.
Italy cheers on the costume designer MASSIMO CANTINI PARRINI nominated with the film "PINOCCHIO" by Matteo Garrone, which has already received the "David di Donatello" award 4 times, and the singer Laura Pausini nominated with the song "Io Sì".
"DIVI & CINEMA" will cheer for both of them but especially for the brillant costume designer MASSIMO CANTINI PARRINI, whom our editor and director Annarita Campo met on the set of Joe Wright's masterpiece "Cyrano" produced by Metro Goldwin Meyers.
